republicasia CEO seeks to carve his own path

THE young chief executive officer behind republicasia media would like to do something new.

At 25, Bran Reluao entered the crowded Philippine media landscape hoping to carve out a niche for himself.

His idea is to set his website apart from the pack by giving a voice to the thoughts and concerns of the younger generation, and serving as a platform to discuss issues that affect them.

It is not an easy task for the young digital strategist. He has to deal with swift advances in technology and a fast-moving news cycle that requires him to process a large amount of information in such a short time.

It is a high pressure environment, but one he has been able to navigate because he is determined to break new ground.

He would like to use the power of social media to amplify stories of the younger generation and those in the underground culture that have not been given much attention in traditional media.

Partnering with LVNA

It is this same drive that has caught the attention ot LVNA, which featured Reluao on its website.

Like Reluao, Drake Dustin Ibay hoped to do something new when he started LVNA.

Ibay veered away from the typical practice of selling diamond jewelry at a very high mark up.

He made classy, quality pieces more accessible. By doing this, he attracted a wide range of people who have decided to collect his creations.

Wise investment

Reluao is one of those who have decided to invest his hard-earned money in LVNA jewelry.

Timeless pieces don’t go out of style, and they gain value over time. Reluao believes investing in these is a better use of his money than going for gimmicky and risky ventures.

LVNA’s website shows him proudly wearing his diamond necklace and tennis bracelet.

For him, the diamonds are a symbol of grace under pressure, of overcoming adversity and thriving under challenging circumstances.
