MANILA, Philippines – A flock of millennial influencers and Gen Z content creators came together to witness the grand launch of Republic Asia in Intramuros on Saturday.
Among the famous influencers who attended the launch were actress Erin Ocampo, former PBB Teens housemates Joj and Jai Agpangan, artist Gertrud Hahn, Super Sireyna 2013 Queen of Queens Francine Garcia, actor and comedian Archie Alemania and his wife Gee Canlas, Vloggers Crisha Uy and Jam Miguel, basketball player Thirdy Ravena, fashion model Nikki de Moura, celebrity stylist Patty Yap, model-entrepreneur Ezra Domingo, digital creator Essy Lee, events host Steph Ongkiko, and content creator and model Art Anthony Golimlim, among others.
For Francine, the launch represents the “power” that social media holds in telling the stories of the Filipino people.
Republic Asia aims to bridge the gap between generations Y and Z by narrating stories out of the ordinary.
The official launching was also followed by the private viewing of the media company’s website, which was called “the future platform,” featuring the first thematic story about social media as the new channel of pornography in the Philippines.
Actress Erin Ocampo shared a reel highlighting the event launch:
