Miley Cyrus, FLETCHER thrill fans with steamy NYE performance

POP superstars Miley Cyrus and FLETCHER spiced up the New Year countdown during Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami, Florida and thrilled fans.

Co-hosted by Cyrus and American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party is an annual special episode aired by National Broadcasting Company to celebrate the coming year.

The star-studded new year countdown featured chart-topping musicians and celebrities including David Byrne, Sia, Liily, Swae Lee, Rae Sremmurd, Latto, Paris Hilton, and FLETCHER to name a few.

But what stole the spotlight was Cyrus’ “steamy” performance with pop singer FLETCHER, whose real name is Cari Elise Fletcher, as the pair sang Midnight Sky.

The two set the stage on fire as they held hands, hugged, and touched each other while entertaining the huge crowd.

Cyrus and FLETCHER went viral on social media, with fans saying their Midnight Sky stage was a “queer dream.”

Fans can’t help but ship the two due to their undeniable chemistry while on stage.

Cyrus and FLETCHER are both known by the public to be proud members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

In 2015, Cyrus came out as pansexual in an interview with Elle UK. 

“I’m very open about it — I’m pansexual. But I’m not in a relationship. I’m 22, I’m going on dates, but I change my style every two weeks, let alone who I’m with,” said Cyrus.

Meanwhile, the queer icon FLETCHER is an open LGBTQIA+ community member but doesn’t identify herself as belonging to any specific category from the spectrum.

“I definitely identify within the LGBTQ community, but as far as putting a label on like gay, straight, bisexual, lesbian, queer… it’s all in the family and spectrum, and sexuality and gender is not black and white. It’s a spectrum that we all fall somewhere in the world on. That’s how I feel comfortable expressing myself — loving who I feel like loving and who I’m attracted to,” she said.

Cyrus, who divorced actor Liam Hemsworth in 2019, and FLETCHER are both single as of writing. While there has been no recent news about the pair’s dating status, fans have been rooting for the queer duo since their new year’s performance on stage.
