MAMAMOO’s concert docu film to hit PH cinemas in August

LADIES and gentlemen, let’s get on with the show!

Filipino MooMoos are surely having the time of their lives as the KPop vocal powerhouse MAMAMOO is set to hold a worldwide release of its widely anticipated concert documentary film next month.

MAMAMOO: MYCON The Movie will be available exclusively on SM Cinemas nationwide on August 9 and 12 only.

“Join the new powerhouses of K-pop as they embark on their first world tour in the highly anticipated film ‘MAMAMOO: MY CON THE MOVIE,’” SM Cinema wrote in a social media post.

The said documentary film will feature never-before-seen footage of the 9-year-old group’s thrilling concert journey during its seven-month long world tour.

Further, fans will also have the opportunity to get to know their idols in a deeper sense through the personal stories they shared during the tour in the 124-minute long documentary film.

“Don’t miss this unforgettable experience on the big screen with the musical phenomenon – MAMAMOO!” the group’s label wrote in its official website.

Tickets for the film can be purchased through MAMAMOO’s website starting July 14. Meanwhile, SM Cinemas is yet to announce its ticket selling dates for the said film.

Composed of members Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa, MAMAMOO visited various countries all over the globe to deliver its captivating vocals and dynamic performances to its fans.

The quartet visited the country for the Manila leg of MYCON World Tour on February 13 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Further, the group’s first subunit composed of Solar and Moonbyul will be coming back to the country for a joint concert with two other KPop girl groups on August 11 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Who is MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO is an all female South Korean group who debuted under RBW Entertainment in June 19, 2014 through its debut single called Mr. Ambiguous from its first extended play (EP) HELLO.

The group started busking on streets in its early days in the industry to promote its albums and to strengthen its fanbase.

Nine years later, MAMAMOO has now been known as the KPop’s vocal powerhouse due to its electrifying vocal capabilities and outstanding stage presence.

Moreover, all members of the group have established their solo careers while also staying committed as a group.

MAMAMOO is known for its top-charting earworms including HIP, Yes I Am, AYA, Gogobebe, Dingga, Starry Night, and ILLELLA to list a few.
