Netizens were enamored with Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez’s picture-perfect wedding in Bali, Indonesia, but little did they know that the couple had already been married through a civil ceremony in February.

In an exclusive interview with Preview.ph, Salvador revealed that she has been Mrs. Nuñez since their civil wedding on February 14, 2023—a date that was not only special for Valentine’s Day reasons but also because it was their fourth anniversary as a couple.
She said a wedding held in another country would not be recognized in the Philippines, so they opted for a civil wedding here before traveling to Bali.
“Dapat talaga isang beses lang,” she told Preview.
“Pero, since pinili namin to have a destination wedding, hindi kasi i-o-honor ng Philippines ’yung wedding namin sa Bali,” she added.
Their civil wedding was attended by just over 60 people, mostly family and friends, and was held at the Grand Hyatt Manila.
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano officiated the wedding.

Salvador wore a stunning Mark Bumgarner creation, an ethereal looking white dress with an A-line skirt and bare back.
Guests told to keep wedding a secret
Just like other celebrity weddings, the couple allowed their guests to take photos during the occasion but asked them to avoid uploading them on social media.
“Lalo na ngayon, digital na sobra. May cellphones and all, and everyone can be the paparazzi,” she said.

The couple had their dream wedding at the beachfront of the Apurva Kempinski Bali, a five-star hotel in the popular travel destination.
Two days prior to the Bali wedding, Salvador attended the equally dream-like wedding of her close friend, E.A.T. host Maine Mendoza, to actor-politician Arjo Atayde in Baguio City.
