LOOK: Pinoys show creativity in unique Bondee rooms

WITH the rise of the new social networking app Bondee, Filipinos have once again showcased their ingenuity with fun, eye-catching rooms in the virtual space that resemble real-life places in the metro.

Bondee is a Singapore-based social networking app that combines the features of metaverse, online gaming, and messaging to create a virtual world where users can create their three-dimensional twins, style their clothes, decorate their rooms, and chat with their Bondee neighbors.

As the app gains popularity among social media users, it has also become an avenue for people, especially the ever-creative Filipinos, to exhibit their design skills.

Pinoy wit

At first, Filipino Bondee users shared rooms that follow a certain aesthetic — a warm atmosphere, neutral colors, and minimal room decor.

Eventually, they came up with more creative and comedic ideas, from retail stores to barangay offices!

In a Facebook group called Bondee Philippines (PH), several users of the app posted their creations that instantly became one of the internet’s source of good vibes.

Facebook user Rafael Parungao shared his Bondee room that looks similar to a local delivery courier office.

Meanwhile, Don Ludovice created a parody office of a popular mobile app wallet.

Jeffrey Baguisa mimicked TV host’s Boy Abunda’s set design and called his place Fast Talk with Boy A-Bondee, a play on the title of a segment in Abunda’s show.

Group member Chester Echevarria also designed a room that depicts typical barangay offices in the country, complete with anti-bullying posters and government officials’ portraits.

Jasmin Vicera, on the other hand, showed her kikay side by designing a pink-themed beauty clinic with posh white sofas and sleek vases.

Netizens also expressed their never-ending love for coffee as they recreated different versions of local coffee shops in the country, including this design from Sophia Andres Roxas.

So, which room is your favorite?
