LOOK: Loveteams that stood out at the Star Magic Prom 2023

It was an enchanted night once again for Star Magic with young stars shining bright as they graced the ivory carpet of the first Star Magic Prom 2023. 

Last Thursday, March 30, at The  Bellevue Manila in Alabang, where the event was held, felt like they had been transformed into a full blown cast of Netflix’ Regency romance drama Bridgerton, which was the theme of the night.

Everyone looked regal and a royalty of their own right. It was hosted by Ai dela Cruz and Edward Barber, and the pair aced it with their glamorous look to boot!

To make the event even more memorable, recognitions were given to attendees who bagged awards after the week-long online voting courtesy of their dedicated fans.

1. Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano

Hail to the night’s Prom King and Prom Queen. Their title is indeed fitting to their stature as among the fastest emerging loveteams of the new generation.

2. Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes

Who said women can’t make the first move and still look classy? Welcome to the love story of celebrity couple Ricci Rivero and Andrea Brillantes. The pair bagged the Best Promposal award because of the young actress’ iconic Go To the Prom with me stunt during the concert of Korean girl group Black Pink in Manila last March 26. Listen up, ladies! Never let others dictate how your lovelife should go. Your relationship, your rules.

3. Aljon Mendoza and Jayda Avanzado

If blue in love means lonely then Aljon Mendoza and Jayda Avanzado might have changed that meaning overnight. Aljon looked dapper in a blue silk suit and tie while Jayda was a goddess in floral blue sparkly tube dress.

4. Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz

FranSeth was plucked out of a Disney fairytale. Seth in a white suit was a prince charming ready to sweep you of your feet while Francine was ethereal in a yellow feather-adorned ball gown which resembled Belle’s in Disney classic Beauty and the Beast.

5. Jeremiah Lisbo and Kaori Oinuma

Model-actor Jeremiah Lisbo donned a modern black and white suit with a flower brooch. Kaori Oinuma showers the event with pixie dust with her perfect fairy-attire in bright peach pair dress and long, iconic train.
