KPop group Red Velvet to hold Manila concert in May

ZIMZALABIM, Filo ReVeluvs! Red Velvet is coming to town!

South Korean all-female group Red Velvet will return to the Philippines for its fourth world tour this coming May.

On its social media pages, the girl group announced the cities where the music tour called R to V will be held. This includes Singapore, Yokohama, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, and London.

R to V will kick off with a two-night concert in Seoul, South Korea on April 1 and 2. Meanwhile, the group will be meeting its Filipino fans on May 7.

This will mark the five-piece girl band’s fourth visit to the country, following its advocacy concert in 2022 concert called BE YOU: The World Will Adjust, a mental health awareness drive for People with Special Needs.

Originally composed of members Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy, the group debuted in August 2014 under SM Entertainment with the song Happiness. The fifth member and Maknae (youngest) Yeri joined the ensemble the following year.

Red Velvet is known for the top-charting songs Psycho, Bad Boy, Russian Roulette, and Red Flavor among many others.

It recently released its comeback extended play (EP) called The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday in November 2022 with five tracks including Birthday, BYE BYE, On A Ride, ZOOM, and Celebrate.
