Kim Seon-ho to reunite with Filipino fans this weekend

AWESOME news for Filipino Seonhohadas: our “Good Boy” is coming back to town!

South Korean actor Kim Seon-ho will be holding his second solo fan meeting on Saturday, July 22, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

This fan meet, dubbed Lovely To Meet Our Good Boy, is part of Kim’s project as BENCH’s global Benchsetters or brand ambassador.

“I can’t express how much I’m thrilled and my heart is beating,” the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star said in a video posted by the brand on Twitter.

“It’s a great honor to see you again,” he added.

The Start Up second lead previously held his first solo fan meet in January under his Asian tour called One, Two, Three. Smile.

BENCH also announced that Filipino Seonhohadas can still get the chance to grab tickets to the fan meet.

The brand is giving away free patron tickets to customers who would acquire a minimum single-receipt net purchase of any regular-priced Bench & Herbench merchandise, cosmetics, selected consignment items, regular and promo bundles, gift boxes, and gift packs worth P6,500.

Meanwhile, a minimum single-receipt net purchase worth P2,500 would get fans a free general admission ticket.

Participants may redeem their free fan meet passes from July 18 to 22 at the Ticketnet Box Office located at the Yellow Gate of the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Where else have we seen Kim Seon-ho?

Kim has been one of the most sought after actors in South Korea after his promising acting role in the 2020 romantic comedy television drama Start Up.

He played the role of the competent and kind-hearted entrepreneur Han Ji-pyeong or “Good Boy”, where he got his nickname.

The 37-year-old actor was also one of the headliners for the well-loved romantic comedy series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha which aired on Netflix in 2021.

He portrayed the jack-of-all-trades Hong Du-sik, also known as Hong ban-jang, together with actress Shin Min-ah.

Because of the sense of comfort brought by the series, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha has won Kim the Breakthrough Star of the Year and Best Actor awards at the Metro Best K-Drama Awards 2021.

He was named the Outstanding Korean Actor at the 2022 Seoul International Drama Awards.

Aside from these hit series, Kim has portrayed several notable roles in the past that made his fans fall in love more with his charisma and impeccable acting skills.

He also starred in the 2017 drama series The Good Manager, which also happens to be his debut series. Here, he played Sun Sang-tae, a shy nerd still heartbroken from his last relationship.

And who would have thought that Kim was also part of the iconic Korean comedy drama Strongest Deliveryman in 2017? He portrayed the stubborn heir to a wealthy family named Oh Jin-gyu.

We don’t know if being a second lead suits him best, but Kim also played another side role in the historical drama 100 Days My Prince in 2018.

In this series, he was given the role of Jung Jae-yoon, the prince’s advisor, who also harbors an unrequited crush on Hong Shim, the female protagonist.
