TV host and sports enthusiast Kuya Kim Atienza directed an advice to volleyball team Choco Mucho Flying Titans to “act properly in public” after its members supposedly snubbed their fans who greeted them in Boracay.
In a Facebook post Sunday (December 4), Atienza uploaded a video showing members of the team that included Deanna Wong, Maddie Madayag, Bea De Leon, Odina Aliyeva and Cherry Nunag headed to what appears to be shuttle service with fans greeting them in the background.
“As public personalities, (yes athletes are also public figures) We have a choice to inspire and show gratitude to fans who passionately support us or we can choose to stay private and give them the cold shoulder,” he said.
“This team should be advised that catering to fans is a responsibility, otherwise, stay out of the public eye and play privately. What an irritating yet sad sight. I hope they are advised by their sponsors to act properly in public. Back to you guys,” he finished.

However, only Madayag, De Leon and Nunag nodded and the rest seemed to just have walked on without sending responses to the fans.
From the background, fans can be heard saying “just say hi” but to no avail.
Aliyeva was also seen shaking her head in refusal to a fan’s photo request.
Atienza, through a comment, then explained that “baka pagod lang sila. It’s also proper to remind them because they are young and have a bright future.”
