NAZARENO and Sinulog devotees, brace yourselves for wet festivities today. It’s still going to be a rainy Sunday.
The Low-Pressure Area that formed near south of Mindanao has left the Philippines, but may return again in the next few days, state weather forecasting agency Pagasa.
Grace Castañeda, Pagasa weather specialist said, the LPA may not form into a typhoon. But they will continue to monitor its track because it appears that its movement is quite erratic.
Regardless, the trough or tail-end of the Low-Pressure Area still has impact in the Philippines.
The LPA trough is bringing moderate to heavy rains in Davao Region, CARAGA and Northern Mindanao.
Light to moderate, with at times heavy rains, will be experienced over Visayas, southern portion of Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and the rest of Mindanao.
The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, and Bicol, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon are battered with moderate to at times, heavy rains. The Northeast Monsoon is bringing the weather disturbance to Luzon.
