‘Everdream Valley’ to plant seeds on PC, PlayStation at the end of the month

AN animal paradise awaits gaming enthusiasts as the three-dimensional video game Everdream Valley will be officially launched by the end of the month on PC and PlayStation, the game developer has announced.

The farming simulation game will also be released on Nintendo Switch in June, according to publisher Untold Tales and developer Mooneaters.

In Everdream Valley, players will be tasked with restoring and bringing back the life and charm of the main character’s grandparents’ farm by helping them accomplish daily farm tasks and missions.

At daytime, players would also need to cultivate a wide range of crops and maintain a variety of farm animals while protecting the harvest from pests and keeping the animals fed, healthy, and entertained.

Aside from this, players may also build a treehouse, catch and collect bugs, go fishing, get new clothes, cook, take photos, build furniture, go treasure hunting, and spend the night camping in the valley.

“Each little adventure gives you something back to help you grow your farm even more and unlock more [stories] and side quests, all at a leisurely pace,” according to the short blurb about the video game.

Players can choose from 10 different dog breeds to be their sidekick and aid them with herding, tracking, and finding treasure.

When night greets the little homestead, magical dreams will visit the character’s subconscious during his slumber. Through these dreams, players will be able to enjoy unique minigames by playing the role of one of the animals on the farm.

Everdream Valley retails for P765 on Steam, but its demo version can be downloaded for free on the video game distribution platform.

Meanwhile, the game’s price for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch has yet to be announced.
