SHE isn’t stopping just yet.
Actress Dolly de Leon’s powerful performance as toilet manager-turned-captain Abigail in Ruben Ostlund’s “Triangle of Sadness” has earned her yet another nod.
Adding to her impressive list of distinctions is a best actress win in a supporting role category at the Guldbagge Awards on Tuesday (Manila time) in Sweden.
Under the category, she bested Carla Seh (“Stammisar”), Liv Mjönes (“Tack for the Last Time”), and Marika Lindström (“Burn All my Letters”).
Apart from de Leon’s win, the movie has bagged few more recognitions such as best movie, best direction, best costume design and best mask design.
The Guldbagge Awards annually honors the best Swedish films where winners are given statuettes called Guldbaggens.
It was her second international award.
The first one was the best supporting actress win at the 2022 Los Angeles Films Critics Association Awards and made history for being nominated in the same category at the Golden Globes and the British Academy Film Awards.
