Tuesday Vargas receives apology from stars’ handler after ‘snub’

MARIZEL Sarangelo Placido, more popularly known as Tuesday Vargas, received an apology from the road manager of the young celebrities who she called out for snubbing her at an event.

The apology came after she posted about some newbie celebrities who were allowed to appear in the program ahead of schedule and ignored her greeting.

Because netizens have been bugging Vargas, she was driven to share her conversation with the handler of the young stars.

“Ang RM ng mga bagets ay tumawag sa akin para umamin at mag sorry ng kamalian nila,” she said on Twitter.

“Una ay dine-deny pa na merong isnaban na naganap,” she added.

She said the actors’ handler explained to her that the celebrities were in a rush and did not intend to snub her.

She did not name names but said young celebrities should be nice and kind to everyone.

“I have been through a lot as well in my 20 years in showbiz kaya ako

nagpapangaral sa mga bata,” she said.

Vargas also told the fans of the young stars that they should not tolerate their idols’ behavior and should correct it if necessary.

“Guys we are all missing the point here. I am not petty and it’s really ok if hindi nila ako nakita at hindi reciprocated ang pagbati. Madaming iba pang naganap that day at hindi ko na iisa isahin pa,” she said.

The post where the comedienne first vented out her feelings has been deleted the day after it went viral. But many were able to take a screenshot of the post.

“Mga batang artista, kahit gaano kayo ka sakit at pinagkakaguluhan ng mga tao, mag-hello kayo sa kapwa artista pag dating sa work,” she said.

“Lalo na sa nakatatanda” she stressed.

She did not identify anybody in her earlier post, but she advised young stars to be mindful that fame does not guarantee longevity.

“Pakabait okay? Huwag ganun,” she added.

After deleting her initial post, she shared this quote: “Beautiful things don’t ask for attention,”

Vargas is currently a freelancer who is visible in several network shows.

Her most recent project is with Bubble Gang, the longest running gag-show.
