The album’s concept will focus on how BTS’ lead vocalist and main dancer faced himself head-on as he geared for his activities as a solo artist.
BTS also shared that Jimin will be meeting fans for the promotion of his solo album.
“Jimin will see the fans through various activities including the ‘FACE’ release so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin’s first official solo activity,” BTS wrote.
Pre-orders for the album will start on Wednesday, February 22.

While most fans are excited about Jimin’s forthcoming solo album release, some BTS fans, also called ARMYs, can’t help but compare his solo project to other Korean idols whose albums bear the same name.
Solar from MAMAMOO and Key from SHINee also released an album with similar titles in 2022 and 2018 respectively.
ARMYs called out some SHINee fans, called Shawols, for hating Jimin over the similar album title. According to them, one SHINee member also released an album with the same title as BTS’ Life Goes On, but they did not make a big deal about it.
Meanwhile, another BTS fan threw hate on Solar and Key by implying that their albums were irrelevant as it accumulated low first day sales.
On the other hand, a Twitter user noted that fans of the other two idols were “crying” over the fact that the FACE album will be remembered by the public because of Jimin instead of Solar and Key.
