BLACKPINK’s Lisa sets 3 more Guinness as solo artist

Lisa, you’re the loudest in the room!

THE Guinness World Records recently awarded more record title under BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s name, making her career as a solo artist flourish even more.

BLACKPINK’S main dancer and lead rapper Lalisa Manobal, mononymously known as Lisa, has been making headlines since she embarked on her solo career in 2021.

Guinness logged three more record titles under the BLACKPINK member’s name after her sensational performances and unparalleled achievements in 2022.

According to Guinness, Lisa has become the first ever solo KPop winner at the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards.

In August 2022, the Thai rapper won the Best KPop Award at the VMA, defeating other KPop groups including BTS, ITZY, TWICE, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids.

Lisa snatched the same award at the MTV EMA in November 2022, topping other nominees including SEVENTEEN, TWICE, ITZY, BTS, and her own group BLACKPINK.

Aside from these, Lisa also clinched another world record when she reached 86.3 million followers on Instagram as of January 19, gaining her the title Most Followers on Instagram for a KPop Artist.

The rapper’s Instagram followers accumulated to 87.1 million as of writing.

Her huge follower count on Instagram, according to Guinness, makes her the 38th most followed account, with Christiano Ronaldo topping the list.

Previously, Guinness named Lisa’s music video for LALISA the Most Viewed YouTube Music Video by a Solo Artist in 24 hours in 2021, as it reached 73.6 million views during its first day at the video streaming platform.
