The former YouTube sensation who in 2008— at the tender age of 13 —- found instant fame when he posted videos singing his original songs and classic covers.
He was eventually signed by r&b superstar Usher’s label and went on to release the song “One Time” which catapulted him to superstardom.
His popularity soared into the stratosphere when he followed up with “Baby”, from his 2010 debut album smash—-My World. “Baby” wound up getting 300 million views on YouTube and the rest as they say is history.

The Canadian superstar has gone through some ups and downs in the last few years as you would expect from someone who’s been put through the rigors of stardom. But he comes out of this as the youngest artist with the most expensive catalog in history.
“Justin Bieber’s impact on global culture over the past 14 years has been truly remarkable,” announced Merck Mercuriadis, founder of Hipgnosis Song Management, the company buying the catalog.
“This acquisition is among the biggest deals ever for an artist under the age of 70, such is the power of this incredible catalog that has nearly 82 million monthly listeners and more than 30 billion plays on Spotify alone,” the businessman added.
“Scooter Braun has helped him build a magnificent catalog, and it’s a pleasure to welcome Justin and his incredible songs and recordings to the Hipgnosis family,” concluded the artist manager.
According to Variety, Bieber will still be managed by Universal Music where he has been since his career started.
