Best New Year countdown spots in Metro Manila

AS 2023 is fast approaching, everyone is looking forward to the New Year countdown.

Welcoming the new year is always best done in the comfort of your own home, but if you and your family are looking for something extra, there are places around Metro Manila that have prepared some events to make New Year’s Eve more meaningful and memorable.

Here are some of the best spots where you can have a magical farewell to 2022.

Rizal Park

Through the years, Rizal Park has never failed to welcome anyone on any occasion.

It has always been a pleasing place to visit even when there are no events. But it is more majestic during the New Year countdown, with a fireworks display and the vibrant dancing fountain.

Because it can be visited for free, Manileños and Non-Manileños can come to the park. You could probably expect a large number of visitors on December 31.

Bonifacio Global City

Since it will be the last chance to party this year, it will be good to count down the final seconds of 2022 in BGC, which is a go-to place for bar lovers.

What’s more exciting is that BGC has prepared a spectacular program to welcome 2023. It will feature a grand pyromusical display as well as performances from the biggest stars of the generation, such as Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo Mañalac, Morisette and Ebe Dancel.

Okada Manila

Visiting Okada Manila can make you feel like you are in another country because of its luxurious vibe. It’s one place where you can experience a stylish countdown celebration.

One of the best highlights in Okada is its splendid dancing fountain. It will also have musical performers on Saturday.

For this year, rock icon Arnel Pineda, KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde will rock the stage to help guests welcome 2023.

Eastwood

One of the go-to places of people from eastern Metro Manila and Quezon City to welcome the new year is Eastwood.

This place is undeniably a good spot to bring your family, friends, lover and even fur babies.

This year, the countdown concert that stars Yeng Constanino, Christian Bautista, Zack Tabuldo, and Lola Amour in Eastwood is accessible to anyone.

As they say, the best things in life are free!

Mall of Asia

What better way to ring in the new year than with a view of the ocean, good music, and a pyro-musical fireworks show? You can have these all at SM Mall of Asia.

Southies are going to be more excited especially for this coming New Year countdown as P-Pop Sensation SB19 will be performing live at the event.

Apart from the SB19, Zephanie Dimaranan, Darren Espanto and Spongecola will also be rocking the stage.
