Aiai Delas Alas, Gerald Sibayan renew vows in US

IT was indeed a double celebration for the power couple. 

Comedienne Aiai Delas Alas and pilot husband Gerald Sibayan renewed  their wedding vows in an intimate wedding in Las Vegas, they also celebrated his 29th birthday looking very happy and in full bliss. 

In an Instagram post on Dec. 1, the comedy queen posted a kissing photo of them together dressed in simple wedding attire. The actress held a vibrant rose bouquet. 

“Pag babalik tanaw sa aming sinumpaan. dahil statesides na kami renewal of vows … boom!! happy birthday — may vlog ako neto wait lang hehe,” she said.

May-December affair 

Delas Alas and Sibayan are among the showbiz couples who proved that age doesn’t matter in love. With a 29-year gap, the couple endured tremendous backlash on social media over their relationship.

The Tanging Ina actress formally introduced Gerald as her boyfriend during the 48th birthday of the late director Wenn Deramas in 2014. He was 21, she was 50. 

Ever since they publicly announced their relationship, the two were very visible on social media being together.

Delas Alas and Sibayan are always seen being supportive of each other’s endeavors.

The comedienne’s children Sancho, Sean and Sophia were also supportive of the relationship. In fact, they even come to his defense against bashers online. 

The couple tied the knot in 2017 at Christ the King Parish Church in Greenmeadows, Quezon City. He was her third.

First husband

The actress’ first marriage was in 1989 with her good friend and fellow celebrity, Miguel Vera. 

Vera is the father of the comedienne’s children; Sancho, Sean and Sophia.

The two separated in 1996 but still are good co-parents to their children. They have kept their friendship despite their marriage problems.

Second husband

Her second was with businessman Jed Salang,  the shortest marriage for the actress which lasted only from April to May 2013.

Her break-up with Salang was tough for the actress because Salang wanted to celebrate their monthsary in a casino. Aiai didn’t  like it. That led to the breakup.
