Apple’s latest iPhone15 Pro boasts of a new line of updates – among them include a switch to USB-C charging, a titanium case, a 48-megapixel camera, and a faster chip that carries better graphics aptly suitable for mobile gaming.
According to the company, it is the first iPhone with an “aerospace‑grade titanium design. A17 Pro, a game‑changing chip. A customizable Action button. The most powerful iPhone camera system. And USB‑C with USB 3 for superfast transfer speeds.”

DESIGN AND FEATURES
Apple said that the new design carries contoured edges and a customizable Action button, which allows users to personalize their iPhone experience.
“Powerful camera upgrades enable the equivalent of seven pro lenses with incredible image quality, including a more advanced 48MP Main camera system that now supports the new super-high-resolution 24MP default, the next generation of portraits with Focus and Depth Control, improvements to Night mode and Smart HDR, and an all-new 5x Telephoto camera exclusively on iPhone 15 Pro Max,” they said.
Their A17 Pro unlocks next-level gaming experiences and pro performance.
On the other hand, the new USB‑C connector – which veers away from the traditional lightning cable – is supercharged with USB 3 speeds.
Apple said this is up to 20x faster than USB 2 — and together with new video formats, enables powerful pro workflows.
They now have Roadside Assistance via satellite, where it builds on Apple’s innovative satellite infrastructure to connect users to help if they have car trouble while off the grid.
“This is the most pro lineup we have ever created, with a state-of-the-art titanium design, the best iPhone camera system yet that enables game-changing new workflows, and the A17 Pro chip, which ushers in a new chapter of performance and games never before seen on iPhone,” Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing said.
“iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max represent the best of Apple design and industry-first innovations to help enrich the everyday experiences of our users, while enabling them to unleash their creativity,” he added.
Apple said in their statement that iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be available in four stunning new finishes, including black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
Pre-orders begin Friday, September 15, with availability beginning Friday, September 22.

So how much does it cost to buy a new iPhone 15?
According to their local website in the Philippines, an iPhone 15 Pro with a 6.1-inch display has a starting price of P70,990 for a 128 GB unit and could go up to as much as P101,990 for a 1 TB unit.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max on the other hand with a 6.7-inch display starts at P84,990 for a 128GB unit and will go up to P108,990 for a 1TB unit.
The availability in the Philippines though has yet to be announced.
NEW APPLE WATCHES
Apple also unveiled their new Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches.
Among its features include new colors, gesture control, and a new iteration of its AirPods Pro wireless earbuds, also with USB-C charging.

While the availability here in the Philippines has yet to be announced as well, their local website said that their Aluminum Smartwatch costs P26,490, and their stainless steel is at P46,990.
