FILIPINO fans just got lucky for the nth time as another oppa is set to kick off his Southeast Asian fan meet in Manila.
South Korean actor and singer Seo In-Guk will meet his Filipino fans on Saturday, August 12, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
The singer-songwriter earlier shared that he often receives messages from his supporters encouraging him to visit the Philippines.
“I’m aware that there are a lot of my fans in the Philippines, and even through my personal social media, I often see messages from Filipino fans wishing for me to go there, see my stages, and make memories together,” he was quoted as saying in a virtual interview with local media.
The Cafe Minamdang star’s first grand fan meet was first announced on May 29.
It is being organized by EPIC Events, which previously promoted the successful Clark Aurora Music Festival, which had 50,000 attendees.
EPIC Events said that the fan meeting would be an incredible opportunity for Seo’s fans to connect with the artist on a different level.
The organizers posted the South Korean actor’s video greeting inviting his supporters and expressing how excited he is to see his Filipino fans.
“I am very excited to meet my Filipino fans. Sa wakas!” said Seo.
Seo first gained prominence in the entertainment industry after being hailed as the grand winner of the Super Star K talent show in 2009.
It paved the way for his acting career, with him debuting in a supporting role in the 2012 drama Love Rain.
He also starred in popular dramas such as Doom At Your Service, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Cafe Minandang, and Shopaholic Louis.
Further, his talent in music has also pushed him to pursue a career as a singer-songwriter. He released several albums, non-album singles, and soundtracks, including All For You, Distant Fate, Our Love Like This, and Flower, among many others.
Seo released his latest album, Love&Love, in 2022.
