A thunderstorm advisory was issued by state weather forecasters in Metro Manila and five other nearby areas.
According to PAGASA, Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Laguna and Quezon may expect moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds.
This may persist in the next two to three hours.
Likewise, the weather bureau said that the thunderstorm advisory issued at 2:08 p.m. is being experienced in Metro Manila as of posting.
It is also being experienced in Zambales (Botolan, Iba, Palauig, Candelaria, San Marcelino); Bulacan (Santa Maria, Angat, Pandi, Norzagaray); Rizal (Rodriguez); and Cavite (General Emilio Aguinaldo, Maragondon, Indang, Naic, Trece Martires, Magallanes); and Batangas (Nasugbu).
