CONTROVERSIAL drag queen Pura Luka Vega has been released on bail, the Manila Police District (MPD) said on Saturday.
Police Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon, MPD Director revealed the release order Saturday morning.
“Matapos makapag-piyansa, kaninang umaga ay may inilabas na release order ang korte para kay Pura Luka Vega kaya immediately noong dinala sa MPD Station 3, na-release natin sir,” he told radio station DZBB.

Pura was arrested on Wednesday after a religious group filed a complaint before a Manla court over the viral Ama Namin rock version.
A fundraiser was made on behalf of Pura and was able to fetch more than P500,000 in donations.
A motion for bail was filed by the camp of Pura where the drag queen asked that the bail bond be lowered which then stood at P72,000.
