STATE voters believe that ‘Project 2025’ does not affect their votes nor were they familiar with the Republican agenda proposals, a recent Emerson College and The Hill poll showed.
The poll shows that 36% to 41% respondents stated that the said ‘Project 2025’ will make no difference on how they will vote in this coming election in November.
These results came from independent voter respondents in the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
What is Project 2025?
Two years ago, the Heritage Foundation launched a project that meant to set our conservative policy goals for the next Republican president.
Project 2025 includes opposing same-sex marriage, restricting abortion access, and ending climate change efforts.
Due to the claims of dangerous proposals, Democrats had launched a campaign informing voters about the said project earlier this year. U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schmer claims that ‘Project 2025’ is a Trump agenda that is written by the people of his inner circle.
While the ‘Project 2025’ is said to be a Trump agenda, former President Donald Trump has repeatedly distanced himself from the claim.
Some Republicans also believe that the Democrat’s claims against the initiative is nothing but a distraction.
