THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) issued a warning to the public against scams using the government wherein this time, they claimed that they will help facilitate loans with them.
In a statement, PhilHealth said that they do not offer loans to its members.
Likewise the state insurer said in their advisory that the claim on an online lending company that was published in an article on its website claiming PhilHealth accepts loan applications is not true.
Agarang benepisyo at serbisyo ang hatid para sa inyong medical condition o surgical procedure,” the state health insurer said in a Facebook post.
Presently, the article is now inaccessible.
The said article claimed that members of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) may avail loans from the agency, to which the state health insurer reminds the public, that it does not offer any loans to its members.
