MIAA assures ‘minimal disruptions’ from electrical maintenance activities

THERE will be power interruptions in some parts of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport from February 6 to March 7 due to a series of electrical maintenance activities.

The affected areas are the NAIA Terminals 1 and 2, International Cargo Terminal, Manila International Airport Authority Admin Building and the airfield.

“Minimal disruptions will occur in some areas but Management assures the riding public that critical systems used for passenger processing will remain operational. The MIAA sees no significant impact of the scheduled works to flight operations,” the MIAA said on Monday.

“A prior meeting with MIAA’s service provider and Meralco led to a unified strategy to ensure uninterrupted flight and passenger movement during the subject period,” it added.
