PRO-MARCOS Filipinos have increased during the third quarter of the year, as pro-Duterte had decreased.
According to the latest survey by the OCTA Research it showed under their Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey that 38% of adult Filipinos had identified themselves as pro-Marcos.
This is up from their 2% from the second quarter survey that they conducted in March.
On the other hand, adult Filipinos identifying themselves as pro-Duterte were down to 15%, or 1% lower from the previous survey.
“On the other hand, 26% of adult Filipinos consider themselves independent or individuals who do not identify themselves as pro-Marcos, pro-Duterte, or the opposition, a five percent decrease from the previous TNM survey conducted in the second quarter of 2024,” OCTA said.
Meanwhile, OCTA said that based on the results of the findings, it indicated a nominal change at the national level for the third quarter,
Based on the analytical data for the last three quarters of 2024, it suggested a “continuing upward trend” since the first quarter to those who prefer to identify themselves as supportive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and a “continuing downward trend” to those supportive of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Some 7% of adult Filipinos expressed support to the opposition — up by 2% from the previous survey — while 14% were ambivalent about their political references.
