INTERIOR and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos admitted that he was unaware of the actions or gesture made by dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo, when he, along with Philippine National Police chief Police General Rommel Marbil was taken a photo in Indonesia.
Abalos said the viral photo, which was criticized by many netizens, was taken for documentation purposes.

Guo is facing human trafficking and money laundering complaints in the Philippines.
Abalos said Guo was just happy that she will now be secured, as she had been receiving death threats.
Earlier, Senator Joel Villanueva called out Philippine officials for their “selfies” with Guo.

“Seriously, do you want to take a picture with this treacherous fugitive!” he added.
Guo, 33, was ordered arrested by the Senate in July for repeatedly failing to attend the investigation into the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Bamban, Tarlac.
