DEVELOPING STORY: Former President Duterte held by authorities

FORMER President Rodrigo Duterte was immediately whisked away by authorities upon arriving back to the Philippines from Hong Kong.

Duterte, along with daughter Vice President Sara Duterte was in Hong Kong to thank their supporters.

The former President was taken inside a Philippine National Police Coaster and was taken to an undisclosed place.

Sources said that he will be taken to a hospital where he will then be taken to Camp Crame.

Duterte was arrested at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after concluding his trip in Hong Kong.

This following reports that a warrant of arrest has been issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Duterte’s controversial war on drugs.

Likewise, news reports said the House Quadcom report had something to do with the arrest as well as the International Criminal Court.
