The andas entered the church at around 7:30 p.m. Thousands of devotees waited for the Black Nazarene. Officials estimate the devotees to be at 6.5 million in total.
The image, encased in glass and atop a carriage, left Quirino Grandstand at 4:45 a.m. and arrived at the church at 7:45 p.m.
