A TOTAL of 1.1 million people have been affected by bad weather caused by the low pressure area and shear line, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.
In its report issued on Monday, the NDRRMC said 1,133,093 people in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Western and Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga have been affected, and 81,149 of them have been displaced.
The reported death toll remained at two, with one injured and one missing.
Flooding incidents were reported in 313 areas in Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Region 5, Region 6, and Region 8.
Damage to agriculture was estimated at P119.897 million, affecting 5,414 farmers and fishermen. There were 270 damaged homes, of which 45 were completely destroyed and 225 were slightly damaged.
Some P66.4 million worth of assistance has been provided to the affected residents.
The NDRRMC started issuing reports on the effects of the bad weather on November 22.
