THE “National Twitter Trashtalkan” UAAP Cheerdance Edition is back.
The University Athletic Association of the Philippines held its annual cheer dance competition on Saturday, and it’s only seven months after it pulled off the Season 84 competition.
This year, the UAAP Season 85 cheerdance competition was back in its original format after the league lifted all the pandemic-imposed restrictions.
The arena was at full capacity once more, and pep squad drummers supporting the team dance routines were allowed again. There were also a maximum of 25 participants on the floor up from the previous 15, and the performances were back to six minutes from just three last season.
The National University Pep Squad was hailed as the season champion, followed by the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad, and UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe.
However, the UAAP cheerdance competition experience is never complete without audience reactions.
