LIST: 5 apps for job hunters in 2023

by Jericho Zafra

GETTING serious about looking for a new, better job in 2023?

Finding a job after resigning or graduating from college is  one of the most tiring and taxing things to do. Not only does it cost so much to apply, but it also makes you ask yourself what job suits you and fits your passion.

Don’t fret because US-based online app reviewer AppAdvice has released a report on the list of five best applications for job hunters. AppAdvice regularly publishes mobile application reports based on user-experience reviews.

LinkedIn

Professionals from all over the world are able to connect and expand their networks through the US-based business and employment platform LinkedIn. On the other hand, it is one of the most comprehensive internet work placements, with hundreds of employment opportunities being posted daily.

You can find career opportunities that are a perfect fit for you by using the search filter. After you have done that, you will start receiving search notifications whenever a deal that meets your standards is made available for recruiters’ access. You can easily submit an application for a variety of jobs by utilizing the curriculum vitae that you have uploaded to your account. Because of this, you can now apply even when you’re not traveling.

Indeed

Are you a freelancer wanting to juggle different jobs while at home? Well, maybe Indeed is what you are looking for.

According to AppAdvice, Indeed is the largest job search site in the world, with more than 16 million job offers from 60 countries and 28 languages.

Using Indeed to find employment is one of the least difficult ways to search for work in the app. You can utilize geolocation on your phone to find vacancies in your city, uncover new offers that have been posted since your last search, or simply find openings by searching for the name of the company, the job description, and the nature of the contract.

ZipRecruiter

Like any other online job recruitment site, ZipRecruiter requires you to upload your professional background to match positions that suit your experience. The application is driven by an artificial intelligence-based smart matching system that matches job openings with the most qualified applicants.

Glassdoor

Glassdoor enables you to get as much information as possible about the company you are eyeing to apply to. This allows you to determine with certainty whether or not you want to start a new position there.

AppAdvice noted that you are able to participate in anonymous workplace talks through the use of Glassdoor. These chats provide you with a first-person view of the recruiters, job requirements, salaries, work climate, or chances for professional growth. Everything you need to know can be learned from former or current employees of a company that has piqued your interest.

Monster Worldwide

Monster Worldwide now rebranded as Foundit is one of the job search engines that has been around the longest and is the most well-known since 1999. Monster is familiar with how to assist you in finding the job that most closely corresponds to your needs and qualifications, AppAdvice said.

The application will provide you with the most tailored employment suggestions, saving you the hassle of carrying out the research yourself. If you are interested in applying for the position after reviewing the offer, just swipe right. All that is required of you is to upload your résumé.

Have you found the right app that works for you? Good luck, and may you work for a job that helps you grow and learn while having fun.
