iKON members heartbroken in ‘Panorama’ MV

Fans of K-pop boy group iKON couldn’t help themselves but applaud the six members for their charisma and acting skills on their new song Panorama.

Released on August 23, the music video showed how Jay, DK, Song, Bobby, Ju-ne and Chan went through relationship blues. It opened with the members’ beautiful moments with their partners and ended with goodbyes.

Jinhwan, also known as Jay, did not disappoint and exhibited his emotions well in a one-sided love story, where his character saw the woman he likes dating someone else.

Kim Donghyuk, also known as DK, depicted a character of a man who suddenly left and broke up with his partner on their second anniversary.

Yunhyeong, popularly known as Song, took on the role of a workaholic man who couldn’t allot time for his girlfriend.

iKON’s main rapper, Bobby, flaunted his natural acting skills when  he gave life to a cool boyfriend, who was reminiscing the sweet moments he had with his lover after they parted ways. 

Jun-hoe, also known as Ju-ne, portrayed a red flag male student who broke up with his girlfriend during her birthday. 

Lastly, the youngest member of the group Chanwoo got his heart broken when his crush rejected him.

Fans’ reactions

The terms Panorama  and #iKONPANORAMA_OUTNOW immediately trended on X, right after the release of the new single.

Their thrilled fans, collectively known as iKONICS, expressed their thoughts and sentiments about Panorama on X.

They commended every aspect of Panorama, including the members’ impressive vocals, their acting chops, and cinematic shots and storyline of the music video.

Panorama comes after the release of iKON’s third studio album Take Off in May 2023. 

About iKON

iKON was formed in 2015, after they participated in the reality survival show Mix & Match. They debuted under YG Entertainment, which handles well-known K-pop groups like BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, and TREASURE. 

The six-member group parted with YG in December 2022, and transferred to 143 Entertainment.

Some of their popular songs are Love Scenario, Killing Me, Rhythm Ta, Tantara, Flower, and Sinosijak.

The group last visited the country on August 5 for the Manila leg of their Take Off world tour.
