Xian Lim deletes vlogs with Kim Chiu

ACTOR Xian Lim has deleted all the videos on his YouTube page amid rumors that he and his girlfriend, actress Kim Chiu, have ended their relationship. 

At present, the only video left on Lim’s page is a video entitled “Draw My Life – Xian Lim | 053,” a video wherein he talks about his life thus far. 

The video details the hardships he endured while living in America and how he has been able to get to where he is now as a successful actor in the Philippines.

Their videos on Kim Chiu’s YouTube channel, with most documenting their travels together to various countries, are still up on her page.

Last November, when asked about their relationship status, Chiu stated that she and Lim were still together, adding: “Sa amin na lang ‘yun, we’ll just keep it to ourselves muna.”

Lim also posted a statement on his Instagram page, explaining that he sees his purpose in life as being a blessing to those around him through the things that he creates.

“Plenty of hearsay happening right now and I would like to ask everyone to be mindful of what you [choose] to believe in deceiving headlines and other information used to just pretend to know the whole story for personal gain and traction,” he added.

“I ask to be mindful of what you share. Leave my family and friends out of this insignificant issue compared to what is happening in the world, our country, or even deep within ourselves.” 

However, he did not directly address the breakup rumors.

KimXi’s 12-year relationship

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim – otherwise known as KimXi – have been dating for 12 years. They first met when Lim did a cameo on “My Girl,” but only really got to know each other when he played one of her love interests on the hit teleserye “My Binondo Girl” in 2011.

In 2018, Chiu confirmed that the two were exclusively dating and have been in a number of projects together ever since. They have also posted several times on each other’s social media pages (which are still up on the accounts of both parties) and have attended many events while standing by each other’s sides.

In 2023, however, people started to speculate that the two had broken up since they were seen together less and less, and these speculations have only grown since Lim’s deletion of his YouTube videos.

The answer to whether or not they have broken up, though, has yet to be officially confirmed. As of the moment, they are still just that: rumors.
