THE Philippines has once again made an international award body’s list. The country has been nominated as Asia’s Best Cruise Destination for the second year in a row at the 2024 World Cruise Awards.
After winning eight accolades in the 2024 World tourism accolades last month, cementing its position as Asia’s finest tourism destination, the Philippines is returning to the World Cruise Awards.
The World Cruise Awards are the “sister event of the World Travel Awards,” which makes it even sweeter if the Philippines wins another prize before the end of the year.
The country, on the other hand, is not new to this awards list; the Philippines received the same honor for the first time in 2023, and it was nominated in 2021 and 2022.
Aside from the Philippines, other Asian countries competing for recognition are Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Filipinos may assist their country win another prize by voting on the World Cruise Awards official website. To vote, an individual must first register an account on the website.
After registering and verifying the account, simply select the Philippines from the list of nominees in the Asia’s Best Cruise Destination category and click “VOTE NOW.”
