FORMER PBB housemate and Starstruck Alum Jesi Corcuera has finally given birth.
Corcuera revealed the birth of his child with a video posted on his Instagram story, showing a baby being fed with milk from a bottle.
On Wednesday, Filipino TV Host Boy Abunda confirmed that the Youtuber had a baby girl. Corcuera even shared another photo of him hugging his newborn.
Corcuera, who has dreamt of being a parent since 2018, announced his pregnancy last October 2024 during his interview in “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda”. He became pregnant through artificial insemination. This is done by collecting sperm cells from a male donor and manually depositing it to the woman’s cervix or uterine cavity to get pregnant.
Artificial Insemination was not really his first choice of conception. But due to several factors such as the restriction of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in the Philippines, his limited financial resources, and his advancing age, Corcuera decided to push through with it.
It can be remembered that during the same interview, Corcuera disclosed that his ‘three years in the making’ pregnancy involved a lot of sacrifices which include stopping hormones, consulting an endocrinologist, and thoroughly researching hormone replacement therapy. He even mentioned that he would be delivering via cesarean section due to a heart condition. All these to pursue his dream— be a father and have children of his own. It was a goal he realized after caring for Camille’s (his partner) children.
As of writing, Corcuera hasn’t added any additional information, including the baby’s chosen name.
