Toni Fowler arrest ordered; posts bail over cybercrime case

POPULAR social media influencer Toni Fowler posted bail on Friday, after a Pasay City court ordered her arrest.

Fowler was charged with violating the Cybercrime Prevention Act in relation to her controversial music video.

She was able to post bail amounting to P120,000 before the Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 108.

Fowler, a popular content creator, drew mixed reactions for the music video of her song “MPL” due to its adult content.

In her defense, Fowler said that the video was restricted and not intended for a universal audience.

Earlier, the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRB) said that if they were to rate the video, they would give it an “X” rating.
