‘The Four Horsemen’ reunite in ‘Now You See Me 3’; film to release in November

THE third installment of the beloved heist film “Now You See Me” has finally released its official trailer, featuring a returning OG member of “The Four Horsemen.”

Titled “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” the third movie showed Henley Reeves (played by Isla Fisher) reuniting with the three original horsemen: J. Daniel Atlas (played by Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (played by Woody Harrelson), and Jack Wilder (played by Dave Franco).

This marks Fisher’s first appearance in the “Now You See Me” franchise since the first installment in 2013. Fisher did not participate in the second movie in 2016 due to pregnancy and was replaced by Lizzy Caplan, who portrayed Lula May.

But Henley’s return is just one of the things viewers should look forward to in the forthcoming movie. The trailer showed Atlas recruiting three young magicians (played by Ariana Greenblatt, Dominic Sessa, and Justice Smith) for “a trick that is bigger and better.”

Their next target? The “heart diamond” that Atlas described as “the most valuable jewel in history.”

“The Four Horsemen” leader then introduced to the young magicians the Vanderbergs, “who have been selling diamonds to warlords, arms dealers, traffickers to help launder their money.”

Enter actress Rosamund Pike in her sparkly evening gown, holding the “heart diamond.”

“If you want to stop the devil, don’t cut off her hands,” Atlas advised the trio.

When everything goes downhill, the three other OG horsemen appear to save Atlas and the young trio.

Former magician Thaddeus Bradley (played by Morgan Freeman) will also appear in “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” to help his horsemen and the recruits “bring down two generations of criminals in a single sleight of hand.”

“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” is directed by Ruben Fleischer, who also helmed “Venom,” “Uncharted,” and “Zombieland.” Its premiere in the United States is slated for November 14, 2025.

Fourth movie in development

While viewers await the release of “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” a fourth installment of the “Now You See Me” movie series is already in the works, said Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson.

He announced this at the CinemaCon earlier this month, with Fleischer returning as the director.

“Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way,” Fogelson said.

He added, “We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us.”

The film series has received several nominations from award-giving bodies. The 2013 movie was named “Favorite Thriller Movie” by the People’s Choice Awards in 2014.
