Taylor Swift spotted with Sophie Turner in NYC

TAYLOR Swift was seen having a girls’ night out with actress Sophie Turner in New York City, only weeks after the latter announced that she and singer Joe Jonas were divorcing.

Jonas happens to be Swift’s ex-boyfriend. 

Entertainment news site TMZ shared a video of Swift meeting Turner for dinner in New York and sharing a hug with her, and then leaving the restaurant together arm in arm. 

The two dined at the Italian restaurant Via Carota and were surrounded by paparazzi as they walked out.

Turner earlier said she and Jonas mutually decided to end their four-year marriage after having two daughters.

Swift used to date Jonas in 2008, and they mostly kept their relationship under the radar.  

She also previously revealed that Jonas ended their relationship with a 27-second phone call.

In the case of Turner, reports said she found out that Jonas had filed for divorce through the media. 

An X user couldn’t help but comment on how Jonas ended his relationships. 

Photos and videos of Swift and Turner’s night out are now making the rounds on various social media sites, and fans shared their mostly supportive comments about this meet-up.

Some followers commended the friendship of the two.

Turner has been a vocal fan of Swift, and many found it nice to see them hang out together, especially given that they are both Jonas’ ex-partners.

Apparently, Swift’s history with Jonas wasn’t an issue with Turner. 

In 2021, when Swift put out her previously unreleased song “Mr. Perfectly Fine,” people speculated that it was about Jonas and how he moved on after their breakup. 

Turner, who was then married to Jonas, gushed about the song on Instagram, posting it as a story and adding the words, “It’s not NOT a BOP.”

Swift then reposted the actress’s story with the caption, “Forever bending the knee to the [Queen] of the North,” referencing Turner’s role as Sansa Stark in the series Game of Thrones.
