AND THE Swifties are ready for it.
Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in Singapore is known to be the most anticipated event amongst Southeast Asian fans. This especially applies to all Filipino Swifties—eager to see their favorite artist perform live.
Upon bringing her Eras Tour concert in Singapore—the artist is currently having her six-night staycation in the National Stadium in Singapore that started last March 2. The artist is set to have her Eras Tour shows in Lion City on March 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 along with her fellow artist Sabrina Carpenter as a special guest.
Since Singapore is a Southeast Asian country near the Philippines—an airline company dedicated a 1989 Eras Tour flight just for Filipino Swifties. And if you think their special flight is only limited to a 1989-theme flight, the excitement doesn’t stop there.
As Filipino Drag Queen Taylor Sheesh continues to receive more recognition, the airline company that’s leading the 5J 1989 flight has appointed her to be the airline crew announcer.
On an X (formerly Twitter) post, the artist had reposted a video depicting the passenger’s POV on where Taylor Sheesh is welcoming them onboard to Singapore. Upon reposting the tweet, Taylor Sheesh wrote a caption thanking the airline for making her dream come true as an FA (Flight Attendant.)
Just a month ago, the airline changed the flight name from March 1 to 9 bound for the Singapore Eras Tour show. This is dedicated to Taylor’s Swift album ‘1989’ which contains hit songs such as ‘Shake it off,’ ‘Bad Blood,’ and ‘Blank Space.’
Taylor Swift’s Singapore Eras Tour is also in support of her 2022 album entitled ‘Midnights’ which includes her recent hits ‘Anti-Hero,’ ‘Snow On The Beach,’ and ‘Karma’ featuring American Rapper Ice Spice.
While Taylor Swift’s Singapore Eras Tour is currently the talk of the town–Taylor Sheesh is also set to have her ‘Errors Tour’ that is inspired by ‘The Eras Tour’ in Singapore starting on March 16 and 17.
The show is set to happen at Hard Rock cafe in Singapore.
Taylor Sheesh’s previous ‘Errors Tour’ concert in Melbourne Australia helped her gain further due to her recognition in the Aussie media as she got featured at ‘Today’ for uniting the Filipino and Aussie Swifties in her show.
‘Today’ show uploaded the full interview segment on their TikTok page featuring Taylor Sheesh’s interview in which she talked about her humble beginnings as a Swiftie herself and her performance.
In the interview, she stated how she didn’t expect that there would be a massive crowd. “The Aussie Swifties are insane and wild. They gave [their full] energy from start to finish of our show.” She stated in the interview.
Taylor Sheesh first gained recognition by staging her own ‘Eras Tour’ performance in Trinoma Quezon City. The video of her Taylor Swift impersonation later went viral–gaining her international recognition on “Good Morning America,” Rolling Stone, Pop Crave, and Gay Times.
According to Taylor Sheesh, her international recognition was something that she’d see as unexpected.
