Ryan Bang reveals he’s in a relationship

THE ‘Chinito’ Showtime host has announced his new relationship status with a bang!

South Korean television personality Bang Hyun-Sung, popularly known as Ryan Bang, surprised the madlang people after revealing that he now has a girlfriend.

During the airing of It’s Showtime on August 29, Ryan became emotional as he opened up about  his new relationship status in front of his Showtime family.

“Gusto kong sabihin sa aking Showtime family, sa harap ninyo, Mommy, Daddy, kay kuya ko, ate ko, Tyang, may girlfriend na ako,” the 32-year old TV host stated.

The Showtime hosts can’t help themselves but express their support and love towards the Korean host before giving him a group hug.

Comedian host Vice Ganda also shared how delighted she was when she first heard the news about Ryan’s new girlfriend.

Ryan has yet to reveal who the mystery girlfriend is, as well as when their relationship started, but his co-Showtime host Amy Perez teased that the actor-TV host and his partner’s anniversary is on 28th of a not-mentioned month.

Upon Ryan Bang’s surprising revelation, Vice Ganda then hilariously asked madlang people about their relationship status.

“Madlang people, si Ryan Bang may jowa na. Ang tanong…ikaw kaya, when?” the Praybeyt Benjamin star jokingly asked.

Previously, Ryan has also stated in an interview with Boy Abunda that he wants to settle in the Philippines for good with his future ‘Filipina wife’.

He also shared during the show that he was courting a non-showbiz girl, and he was ready to get married when he found the right woman for him.

“I want to live my life forever here in the Philippines with my forever Filipina,” he said.

Career

Despite being Korean by blood, it cannot be denied that his love for the Philippines is undeniable.

Ryan Bang is now in his 13th year in the Filipino showbiz industry. He first became a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother, and won as runner up in Teen Clash last 2010.

He was the second Korean personality to enter the Philippine showbiz industry following Sandara Park.

In May 2023, Bang also revealed that he had declined an acting and hosting offer from South Korean label SM Entertainment, the home of various Korean celebrities and KPop groups such as NCT, Red Velvet, Aespa, SHINee, EXO, and Super Junior among others.

Besides, he was able to guest in some Korean variety, travel, and entertainment shows, and was looking forward to accepting acting offers in the future.
