THE Quiapo Church released the calendar of activities and route for Traslacion 2024 heading in for the feast of the Black Nazarene on their Facebook page on Thursday.
According to their announcement, at least nine Catholic reverends will preside over a nine-day novena beginning next week Monday in preparation for the Black Nazarene feast.
The novena masses will commence on December 31 at 12:15 p.m. at Quiapo Church. The masses will be presided over by a different reverend priest each day.

Rev. Fr. Marvin Pajarillaga will preside on December 31, Rev. Fr. Ritchie Fortus on January 1, Rev. Fr. Manuel Labing on January 2, Rev. Fr. Ernie Sican on January 3, and Rev. Fr. Abel Maglines on January 4.
Meanwhile, the novena mass will be presided over by Rev. Fr. Rufini C. Sescon, Jr. on January 5, Rev. Fr. Michael Jayson Abao, SC on January 6, Rev. Fr. Ronnie Crisostomo, SVD on January 7, and Rev. Fr. Danilo Canceran on January 8.

On January 3 and 4, at 1:30 p.m., the replica and estandarte of the Black Nazarene will also be blessed within the Quiapo Church.
While on January 6, devotees will be able to get to the Black Nazarene by means of “pahalik” where believers are permitted to touch and kiss the Black Nazarene at Quirino Grandstand.
In 12 a.m. on January 9, the Archbishop of Manila, H.E. Jose Cardinal Advincula Jr., will preside over a Misa Mayor in the Quirino Grandstand.
The march of the Black Nazare is the highlight of the feast, aside from the holy festivities organized by Quiapo Church. According to their post, the procession will take the following path:

According to Traslacion 2024 spokesperson Fr. Hans Magdurulang, the procession will draw more than 22 million believers. This was based on the previous record set in 2020, when the procession drew 22 million people.
