He shared a photo of himself holding his license and smiling widely.
“Betch, I did it,” he wrote in the caption.
On TikTok, he also talked about his experience taking the Esthetician State Board Exam.
He shared a video narrating his experience of being asked to take off his turban while taking the board exam because of the rules. He said he felt embarrassed because he did not like seeing himself without it, as he had lost his hair at a young age.
The social media star announced in a video last year that he would be going to school to study to be an esthetician. He later took fans on a school tour in another video.
In March, he completed his studies and graduated.
Patrick Starrr first launched his YouTube channel in 2013, doing make-up tutorials. He later collaborated with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and fellow beauty influencer Bretman Rock.
He has also launched his own beauty brand called ONE/SIZE.
What is an esthetician?
An esthetician is a skin therapist that specializes in beautification of a face and cosmetic treatments of the skin. Estheticians are professionals that perform facials and offer consultations regarding skin care routines. They can also offer services such as application of eyelash extensions, tinting, and facial hair removal.
But unlike medical aestheticians, estheticians cannot diagnose skin conditions or perform invasive procedures such as botox, chemical peels, and lip filler applications.
