P-pop group ALAMAT set to hold first-ever concert in December

Magiliws — the fanbase of P-pop boy group ALAMAT — have just received an early Christmas gift from their idols.

ALAMAT announced on its social media pages that they will hold their first-ever solo concert on December 1 at the New Frontier Theater.

“Don’t miss out on the ultimate ALAMAT experience!” the group wrote in the caption.

There are no details yet about ticket prices or seat plan, but tickets will go on sale starting September 15.

The six-member group has been performing in music events that feature a roster of Filipino artists, with the 2023 PPOPCON being the latest.

ALAMAT collaborated with boy groups SB19, BGYO, VXON and HORI7ON, and girl group MNL48.

The debut solo concert announcement comes two months after the group released their upbeat single Day and Night, a song about falling for someone and thinking about them all the time. Its lyrics are a mix of Filipino, Cebuano, and English.

The Day and Night music video features Darna star Jane de Leon, who plays the role of a mermaid in Bicol/Visayas mythology named Magindara.

About ALAMAT

ALAMAT is composed of Tomas, R-Ji, Taneo, Mo, Jao, and Alas. The group was originally formed with nine members by Viva Artist Agency and Ninuno Media in 2020.

The boy group, known for incorporating Philippine cultural heritage in its songs, debuted in February 2021 with the single kbye. It is a song produced in a mix of Tagalog, Ilocano, Kapampangan, Bicolano, Waray-Waray, and Bisaya.

In October 2022, ALAMAT dropped their first mini-album Pasulong. The album consists of six tracks, namely: Aswang, Maharani, ILY ILY, Gayuma, Say U Love Me, and Hala.

At the 2023 PPOPCON, the members announced that they were set to release their second mini-album, titled IsaPuso.
