Over 6000 blooms participate in BINI Run

MEMBERS of Philippine P-pop girl group BINI, led a BINI Run, the final stretch before “BINIVERSE” with over 6000 participants, which started from the Quirino Grandstand and looped along Roxas Boulevard on June 23.

The 5-km run was headed by the eight members of BINI: Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena.

The event, inspired by a run challenge trend started by BINI Aiah, and served as preparation for the group’s upcoming first solo concert “BINIverse,” set for June 28-30.

BINI members expressed their appreciation to their fans known as blooms for contributing to  the success of the event.

“Na-a-appreciate lang namin sila kasi walang age limit…ibig sabihin gano’n kalaki ‘yong mga taong nai-inspire po namin. So why not diba, join them.” said BINI Jhoanna in one of their interviews.

“Hindi kami makapaniwala parin na grabe padami na sila nang padami.” BINI Maloi added.

During the event, BINI members also boarded a float after the first half of the run so other blooms, specifically those running at the back, would see them.

On the girl group’s Instagram, they expressed their gratitude for the smooth execution of the event.

“Makasama kayo sa start at finish line ng #BINIRun2024! Salamat sa pagtakbo with us!” BINI wrote in a post.

BINI Jhoanna also took X to thank their fans for their respect, inclusivity, and cooperation during an event.

“There were 6,000 of us earlier, pero sobrang smooth ng run and walang nangyaring kahit ano.” She wrote on.

The group is known for their songs “Pantropiko,” “Salamin, Salamin,” and “Karera and will hold their first solo three-day concert “BINIverse: The First Solo Concert” on June 28-30 at the New Frontier Theatre in Quezon City.
