WHILE the idea of being a property owner seems like a fun idea for Sims players—did you know that the whole pack holds more fun than that?
A month ago, The Sims had released its trailer for their new expansion pack. The trailer depicts a gameplay where players can play as a Property Owner in the new picturesque world of Tomarang.
Aside from having to play as a Property Owner, players also had the opportunity to build and create varieties of dwellings, including townhomes, duplexes, and many more.
According to EA’s blog—the inspiration for the new expansion pack was inspired by the Southeast Asian world.
“To reflect elements of Southeast Asian culture, The Sims team proudly collaborated with Jason Chu, an Asian-American rapper, social justice advocate and cultural expert with family roots in Southeast Asia, to consult on the For Rent Expansion Pack to deliver more choices with how players explore and express their individuality.” EA wrote.
Aside from the new building details, the expansion pack also includes a variety of activities where sims can visit an animal sanctuary, relax in the green haven of the botanical gardens, and play hopscotch.
The expansion pack also features varieties of foods coming from the different countries in the Southeast Asian regions and one of the foods that was featured in the new content was the Filipino dessert: Halo-Halo.
Aside from Halo-Halo, Pancit Bihon is also featured in the pack.
