Netizens not happy with Coldplay’s PH concert wristband return at only 87%

Only 87% of wristbands were returned during Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres World Tour” in the country.

Japan had the greatest percentage of bracelet returns ranking at 97%, with Denmark coming in second at 96%.

With the intention of reducing their Carbon Footprint–every Coldplay concert features Xylobands or reusable LED wristbands. These wristbands were distributed to attendees and had to be given back at the end of the concert.

Meanwhile, as the announcement of low wristband return became public, many netizens and concertgoers expressed their dismay on X.

One netizen expressed his perspective regarding the situation.

An X user stated that the wristbands should be returned as part of Coldplay’s sustainability.

A user explained on how Coldplay is advocating for environmental efforts by recycling wristbands.

Meanwhile an X user stated on how he wish the wristband had GPS tracker.
