MMD gives a TED Talk

MISS Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee was invited to give a TED Talk last April 14 on the topic of Redefining Beauty and Success. 

Under one of the recent post made by the Miss Universe Philippines organization, it was announced that Michelle Dee will be a featured speaker at the TEDX event held at British School Manila.

The beauty queen’s talk was titled “Beyond the Surface: Redefining Beauty and Success,” a subject on which the Miss Universe claimed she’s an authority on.

Her TED Talk later garnered a lot of attention amongst netizens making it the tag “TEDxMMD” as one of the trending topics on X (formerly twitter).

Many proud netizens on X had also praised the beauty queen for her involvement in giving a speech at TED Talks. 

Michelle Dee’s post-pageantry 

For the Miss Universe 2023, Michelle Dee had presented the country and won as the top 10 finalist.

After the her pageantry career, Michelle Dee became busy as she continues to take project after another.

Last February, Michelle Dee was announced as the China Bank’s ambassador. It was the first time the financial institution named one in a hundred years.

In the same month, along with Miss Universe Thailand Anntonia Porslida—the duo are photographed in the cover of MEGA Magazine.

Meanwhile—earlier this month, the beauty queen was names as the face of Maybelline Philippines. 

While Michelle Dee may appear busy right after her pageantry career, she stated that she is willing to coach her the queens who’ll come after her.
