‘Maid in Malacañang’ to be made into a series

A PHILIPPINE controversial movie ‘Maid in Malacañang is set to be adapted into a series.

The film ‘Maid in Malacañang’ was centered around the last 72 hours before Marcos’ family were exiled to Hawaii during the People Power Revolution in 1986.

In 2022, Director Darryl Yap confirmed to ABS-CBN that the film will be converted into a 16-episode series with the production to begin in September.

In the movie, Ruffa Gutierrez plays Imelda Marcos, and Caesar Montano plays the role of  former president Ferdinand Marcos.

As for their children Christine Reyes portrayed Imee Marcos, with Diego Loyzaga as Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., and Ella Cruz as Irene Marcos .

The casts are joined with Karla Estrada, Elizabeth Oropesa, and Beverly Salviejo as three maids of the Marcos family.

As of writing, no information is available on the return location of Maid in Malacañang’s original cast.
